Chalet Morville provides owner-run catered Ski & Cycling chalet holidays. We understand that the best holidays are not just about being in a beautiful and awe-inspiring location, but also about having unforgettable meals and remarkable wines.
At Chalet Morville we pride ourselves in serving restaurant quality dishes accompanied by our high standard complimentary wines.
Sue and Jules, the chalet owners, have both worked in the wine trade in the UK and have selected quality “house” wines to serve you throughout your meals. These house wines include a Cabernet-Syrah with just the right balance of fruit and oak, an elegant Viognier and a fruity Rose. We also have an honesty bar from which to select other wines from our wine list including a good selection of French & New World wines, Champagne and Prosecco.
Each season we employ chalet hosts with experience in preparing quality meals consistently. Our hosts are also adaptable to ensure we meet your group’s dietary requirements. We are happy to cater for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs, amongst others. Also, we are happy to be creative in order to meet any food preferences you may have.
Examples of our some of our dishes include confit duck with dauphinoise potatoes followed by sticky toffee pudding, slow cooked lamb shank followed by raspberry bombe and fresh salmon wrapped in prosciutto with herby lentils followed by luxury bread and butter pudding.
We serve Nespresso coffee, Twinings tea as well as a selection of herbal teas. These are available for you to help yourself at all times. Each day in winter we also provide cakes for you to enjoy in the afternoon upon your return from skiing. We also provide this during winter, although with an additional pasta salad option for hungry cyclists.
